Privacy Policy

Last updated:

Information and purposes

Cloudflare hosts and protects the website. It may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, requested URLs, and request times to deliver pages, prevent abuse, and provide traffic statistics, including requests to our GitHub and book redirect links. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use it to respond and handle your inquiry. Where applicable, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website and responding to requests.

When enabled, Cloudflare's Real User Measurements (RUM) service collects page URLs, referring page URLs, and browser performance measurements to help us improve website performance. It uses no cookies or browser storage. See Cloudflare's RUM documentation.

We do not add advertising trackers, sell personal information, or use it for targeted advertising.

Cookies and external services

The website does not add its own cookies. Cloudflare may use necessary security cookies, including when it checks for automated traffic. See Cloudflare's cookie information. You can manage cookies in your browser; blocking security cookies may affect access.

The homepage loads the TAAFT badge image from media.theresanaiforthat.com. When it loads, your browser sends a request to that provider, including your IP address and browser information.

External links lead to services such as GitHub, Google Colab, TAAFT, and book websites. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them. Hosting and email providers process information needed to deliver their services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law.

Your SpeakCrate deployment

This website does not receive input text or generated audio from your self-hosted server. You control your deployment and its data handling. Initial model downloads and any external services you choose have their own data practices.

SpeakCrate includes aggregate usage counts. See the usage-count documentation for details. To disable them, set KOKORO_DISABLE_USAGE_COUNTS=1.

Retention and security

We keep correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to handle inquiries and meet applicable legal obligations. Provider-managed technical records follow the providers' retention practices. Providers may process information in the United States and other countries; Cloudflare's policy describes its international processing and safeguards.

We use HTTPS and reasonable safeguards, but no transmission or storage method is completely secure.

Questions, rights, and updates

Contact contact@speakcrate.com with privacy questions or requests. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your information, and to complain to your local privacy regulator. We will respond as required by applicable law.

We may update this policy as the website changes. The date above shows the latest revision.
